I'm Jocelyn Renaud, an artist specialized in carved glass.
I create works of art to order for individuals as well as for interior decorators.
My French customers are top-of-the-range ones, such as Embassy, UNESCO, Cartier jeweller who orders me works delivered in France and in foreign countries.
I am used to attend exhibitions in international art galleries, such as Barcelona (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany), Angers (France), Miami (USA) and Dubaï (U.A.E)
I am quoted on the French “Drouot cotation” organization, specialized in work of art’s appraisals as well as in sales by auction.

Sculpture on glass with 24 carat Gold , 8 Diamonds and one Opal of fire

My works are based on two components:

First of all the artistic sensitivity bringing harmonious shapes with modern lines. I always try to match the works with the buyer’s personality, in order to give a personal and sentimental touch to the work. Creating works of art to order is something difficult, but gives me the opportunity to renew my art and to progress in my approach.
In a second time, I would like to insist on the technical process of my works. I indeed invented a new process for which I took out a patent in 2003, and that I call “Verrelight”. The Verrelight process is trimmed with manual graduated sandblasting, which increases the work of art’s luminosity. I also use a second process made of low-relief sculpture on glass, which brings a relief’s effect to the ornaments carved inside the glass. These sculptures can then be gilded with a 24-carat gold leaf.
